Tesa 105, Venice Arsenal

Project for the recovery of the Tesa 105 building at the Fondamenta della Novissima, Venice Arsenale.

Achieved

The “Tesa 105” is located inside the broad system of factories in the ‘Novissima’ Docks at the Venice Arsenale.

“Tesa 105” will represent the main access to the northern Arsenale through the area of the Casermette. The entrance hall with related services will be located in this building. Business incubators will be also hosted.

The project provides a new construction inside the historical building with the following features:
- at the ground floor, four structures are located with bookshop and info point; office reception, multi-purpose hall, coffee bar. Wide areas are left open in order to permit both flow and rest in the coffee bar and bookshop areas. The four elements also support the overhanging structure:
- at the first floor are located some offices and business incubator;
- the second floor has two meeting rooms.
