Staff House

Project for the construction of new housing service for employees of Excelsior and Des Bains hotels in Venice Lido.
Preliminary, general and detailed project.

Achieved.

The new Staff House at the Lido of Venice will host the service staff of the great Excelsior and Des Bains hotels and will also provide common areas, gardens and outdoor spaces.
The project plans to demolish the old industrial factory, and aims to replace the obsolete building with contemporary and sustainable architecture.
The project setup previews the formal conservation of the tripartite original structure, recreating a system of paralell stripes, with residential, recreational and distributive functions.
All the vertical and horizontal connections of the building are provided by an open air structure.
