Project for a new office building.

Preliminary project, general, detailed and constructive architectural design.

The building will be located on the road which connects the cities of Travagliato and Brescia, near the roundabout, situated at the crossroads of Via Brescia and Via del Pero. The urban context in which the project will be inserted is uniform, since it features single small and medium-sized buildings.

The new buildings will be placed slightly off-center in relation to the north-south axis of the plot. This positioning will generate two different areas:
A) Eastwards, there will be a green area without an underground car park, where trees can be planted to provide shade to the offices in summer, and to greatly improve the quality of the working environment overall.
B) Westwards, the area is more urbanized. It will provide pedestrian access to the offices, and is allocated for a car park of 16 cars (with one disabled parking bay), an access ramp to the underground car park and ventilation grids.

On the main front of the lot, a significant overhang of approximately 6 metres provides a wide covered entrance square for visitors. The design, featuring the upper floors jutting out onto the covered square, lends a contemporary look to the building, and conveys its administrative function as well as facilitating interaction with the traffic circulation at Via del Pero.
